Children must be 5 by September 1st of their kindergarten year. Children must be 6 by September 1st of their first grade year. Please click here to download an application package. Applications are also available by mail.
If you are interested in financial aid, go to www.sss.nais.org. and complete the form. The Speyer Legacy School is committed to enrolling advanced learners who will benefit from our unique learning environment regardless of financial means, and we therefore encourage applications from families who may not be considering any other independent schools for financial reasons.
Have your child’s teacher complete the Teacher Evaluation Form
Your teacher should mail the form directly to The Speyer Legacy School.
Submit your child’s ERB score
Call the ERB office at 212-672-9801/02/03 or go to www.erbtest.org and make an appointment for your child to take the admissions test. Ask for a copy of the results to be sent to The Speyer Legacy School. If your child has not taken the ERB, please contact us regarding alternative testing.
Have your school complete the Request for School Records
For children applying to first grade and above, please give your child's current school the Request for School Records form. Provide an envelope addressed to The Speyer Legacy School. Ask your school to return the form as soon as possible.
A member of our admissions staff will contact you.
Children will be invited to the school to participate in small group activities.
Notification of admission will be mailed on February 19, 2010. For those applying after January 1, 2010, notification will be on a rolling basis.
Family response/contracts will be due on March 2, 2010.
