Admissions

Dear Parents,

Welcome to The Speyer Legacy School, a new school created to meet the needs of advanced learners whose eager curiosity and self motivation lead them to seek out opportunities for learning and creative expression. We educate students whose passions for learning require modifications in the curriculum content and pace of instruction. We look for students with intellectual promise, internal motivation and good social skills who are able to take a positive role in a community of other students with high potential.

In addition to an academic curriculum in reading, mathematics and writing, we offer a wide variety of stimulating activities—Spanish, fencing, music, art, health, nutrition and agriculture. Unique features of this school are the faculty’s willingness to engage students in discussions about the learning experience and their willingness to work in partnership with parents to support the optimal development of each student.

Admissions are now closed for the 2010-2011 school year.

Yours,
Dr. Julia Osborn
Director of Admissions and School Psychologist
